What books have the kind of marketing no author wants… I was watching a heated debate with a group of readers about the book American Dirt…Being the kind of person I am, I didn’t add my 2 cents to the insanity but it made me wonder… What books out there have been overshadowed by negative connotations. I went to FB and I wasn’t expecting the influx of books and authors surrounded in controversy. I swear I don’t live under a rock but I somehow had missed a boat load of drama and part of me is grateful but the other part wonders what else I miss out on. The drama and controversy surrounding it ends with us and the legal troubles that both the main stars are having has brought to the surface some troubling things about the author of the book Colleen Hoover

So I always vote in the goodreads choice awards. My influencer programs all nudge us to help their books that are nominated … I personally pick the ones I feel should win but it’s a nice reminder to vote. I’m going to give you the low down on the categories..
 
I love the Goodreads choice awards. It’s a quick snapshot of the books that other readers thought were excellent in a variety of different genres. 
They have 15 categories with 20 book choices in each. So what they do is they pick the top 20 books based on Goodreads users reviews and star ratings. Then each Goodreads user has the chance to vote for their choice in each category. The top 10 books go through to the next round for final voting.

The mania is REAL and I am not ashamed to say I am caught up in its rip tides. The countdown to onyx storms release is exactly one week today. I pre-ordered my deluxe copy in march of 2024..
The day they dropped the pre-release. I also have my audible credit ready to go too as waiting for mail is too much for my patience to handle. We are going to discuss some of the fan theories surrounding onyx storm and future installments and I will give you the lowdown on what I think too.
